Wednesday, June 04, 2003 ::: today somebody reminded me something... no, not reminded, but 'notified' me about something. something i've been too scared to confront, too timid to face. I was told that there're only 7 school days left. I was so shocked to learn this news. I didn't dare to count the remaining school days, and I thought I could get away from it by not confronting it. But here it comes, hitting me harder than ever. Like a slap on your face, it hurts at first, and then you feel numb. 7 days. How many hours are there? How many periods? 56... no, less than 56, because we have the feast day mass next friday. Ok, minus 8, making it 48 lessons left. 7 days. That's only 1 week! Someone told me that I shouldn't be so depressed... we have to part anyway, it's only the question 'when'. Yes perhaps this is true. Yet, this is happening too soon. When things are left undone, mission only half completed. Who would want to go through this? And all i can do, is to promise myself to cherish every moment - every chat with friends, every silly moment spent with neighbours, every lesson in my beloved 6D, every recess in SAO, every gathering in festival walk... and not to let myself regret! 4 June... Seems that our generation no longer cares about this day I can't say that I have special sentiment about this incident Because i was still small then But still, today is a day to be remembered And this shall not be forgotten The PRC government's view on this incident hasn't changed Neither should ours. ::: posted by Wings at 6/04/2003 03:37:00 AM
